I’m voting Democrat because I’m way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.

I’m voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I’ve decided to marry my horse.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe oil companies’ profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn’t.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

I’m voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I’m voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they’re doing because they now think we’re good people.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that people who can’t tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don’t start driving a Prius.

I’m voting Democrat because I’m not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.

Bravo! I believe you outlined it perfectly.

    true dat

  3. Sarah Barnes says:

Wow!!!! I don’t even know how to describe this, it is dead on.

  4. CeCe says:

Did you know that if our current Democrat candidate applied for the Secret Service that he would not even be considered due to his past “connection” or social connection with a known terrorist-Ayers? So basically he is not qualified to be in his protection detail but they want him to run a country???? That fact alone should be something to really ponder….

“I’m voting Democrat because I’m way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.”

Strange. Nothing in the campaign to take away your guns.

” I’m voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I’ve decided to marry my horse.”

I find it deeply offensive that you compare adult, consenting adult American citizens and taxpayers to horses. But it reveals a great deal about you.

“I’m voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.”

So you earn more than 250 grand a year? In that case, can I have a loan?

Or perhaps you think the republicans aren’t going to tax you at all…right…

The rest of your points are strawmen.

Really, I expected better out of you Nance. Not that you would agree with me, but that you would be honest and not resort to strawmen in this way.

    Lighten up, Frances.

  7. Tracy says:

Strange – WHAT CAMPAIGN ARE YOU WATCHING?

In 1996, adocument, which was filed when Obama was running for the Illinois state Senate. A Chicago nonprofit, Independent Voters of Illinois, had this question, and Obama took hard line:

    35. Do you support state legislation to:
    a. ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns? Yes.
    b. ban assault weapons? Yes.
    c. mandatory waiting periods and background checks? Yes.

Most of the Democratic Party base is made up of fierce gun-control advocates. But after eight long years in the political wilderness, they want to win, badly. So it’s easy to understand why they’re willing to tolerate a little bit of strategic silence from their standard-bearer, even on an issue so close to their hearts.

“Those are the FACTS JACK!” Another line from Stripes…. great movie, you should watch it Francis.

IF you are “Deeply Offended” then you’re voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody (THAT AGREES WITH ME) is offended by it.

Well – If the truth offends, if morality offends then it must suck to be you.

You’ll have to forgive Annie Okely here, she loves packing heat. And I can’t blame her, I recently discovered target practice and love shootin’ too.

By the way, Obama plans to allow the tax cuts Bush put in place to lapse in which case EVERYONE who pays taxes will see a significant rate hike. He doesn’t see this as a tax increase, just letting a tax cut lapse. See the difference? Neither do I.

  9. Rickr0ll says:

what so you don’t think you should pay taxes? how are we possibly gonna pay our debts?
The line about how “I’m voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.” it is ********. Who spent all this money financing TWO WARS?! republicans have spent more of your money than anyone else. Don’t even lie, Bush and Reagan have spent more money than any other president since FDR. oh that’s right, he was a republican too. huh, that “Democrats are spending your money” is a fear tactic that republicans make, and it’s sheer nonsense. Come back when you have something Accurate to say.

  10. Well at least we don’t have to worry about that now..

    🙂

  11. Nance says:

    rickroll-
I edited your comment. In the future, please no cursing. I usually delete comments with cursing, but you have valid points that should be heard. Thank you for refraining in the future.

  12. Rickr0ll says:

ok sorry nance. i’ll watch my ******* mouth lol (as much as i can for it being underneath my nose 😉 ). thanks for the affirmation, it means a lot coming from you 🙂
Oh you mentioned judges, and actually, it does seem true. the whole removal of prayer and God from the pledge of allegiance to be intolerance, plain and simple. we live in a pluralistic society, and THat is the truth about separation of church and state!

worry about what again frag? lol
